tax reform bill in a generation into law. what can we expect in the second year of the trump administration and how does that impact our lives. joining usow is the blackstone group's private wealth vice chairman and a partner at pwc. gentlemen, good to see you. thanks for joining us. and of course this tax reform package, one of the big stories of the year and of last year. byron, we want to kick it off with you because you've got the ten surprises that you've come out with for how many years now? >> 33. maria: we've got your ten surprises. what strikes you as most important in terms of the ten surprises? where should we focus? where should we begin? >> well this economy has gone on now in the bull market, have gone on for almost nine years. and my view is it isn't over yet. most people feel anything this long in the tooth has to run out of gas. i do think the market is vulnerable to a 10% correction somewhere along the line, maybe more than that, maybe 15%. but i think it's a correction, not a bear market mg so a correction is coming at some point? >> right. i think we're a year away or maybe more, but at least a year away from the nex

a lot of them are probably for the tax reform bill, but his conduct and how he treats the office. all of usere who are on the road talking about it time and time again. i wish he wouldn't tweet. i don't like the tweets. that's a euphemism for a larger concern about the fact that he doesn't act like presidents typically do. i hope that's going to change and if it doesn't change, a lot of places are going to politically reject him and his party. >> if you go back and look at the data, i'm a data geek and if you read the reports, it's difficult for a president to improve his standing in a mid-term election year. the second year in office. the first year he had a honeymoon. people say it's new and i will give it a chance. do they have a plan at this white house and a sense that it's unpopular. if they click it up to 38, that's a couple of house seats. up to 39, that's a couple more. do they want to try to find a formula? >> if that's a preview of what trump would say on the campaign trail which i think it is a taste of what he would say, that's concerning for candidates because he's not the guy

reform bill makes it worse. in their reform bill they say that information collected on americans can be used for anything, tax evasionon smoking pot somewhere, any of these minor things that happen in our country that usually you are protected by the constitution, they've gathered this information with no constitutional protection. it is awful what they want to do. >> bill: do you filibuster next week? i don't think you can stop it, can you? >> the only way a filibuster succeeds you have to get to 41 votes. part of the reason you speak for a while, sometimes for a long while, part of the reason you make arguments is because it's an important issue. if you can convince 41 colleagues. if 41 people will vote with me they can't pass it. and the other side will squawk and go crazy and say the world will end if we don't pass it. what would happen if we don't pass this we would go back to the negotiating table and say we want more protections for americans and they would have to compromise. >> bill: should we expect a filibuster from you next week? >> yes, there will be a filibuster. >> bill: you said there will be an immig
