it is important to know about people's perception of usability or access. to actually go along with a checklist and really be able to objectively assess what is out there and the availability. it is important, helping us to identify areas where there are minimum in easy fixes, making those units so much more efficient. the tenants in those units,, they must have an overall prioritization strategy for placing seniors with disabilities in units based on specific needs. the report in front of you talked about prioritizing people with disabilities and seniors and being put in lower floors of ground level units. really, we need to take a close look at our existing stock, needs, and be able to match them up with the accessibility situation. just because someone might be aging it does not necessarily oppose -- it does not necessarily oppose the limitation on their physical mobility or their need for a bigger bathroom. but by simply installing a grab bar, it may. you have heard it before. mark -- multiple agencies and departments are involved, but there is not a co

for an african-american family that pitcher was still absolutely usable so we find it here in the gilmore cabin. the oil lamp, however, would have been an item that they bought. many houses in the late 19th century would have included three or four oil lamps. the gilmores might have had one. one of the other unique features of the gilmore cabin is the fact it has two fireplaces. remember that george, a 70-year-old man or 65-year-old man i suppose when he built the cabin, built this cabin by himself with only the help of three teenaged sons. the fact that he could build the cabin tells us about his carpentry skills but the fact that he could build a working chimney with two fire places, one downstairs and one upstairs, really lends credence to his ability as a craftsman. building a stone chimney is no easy feat and building one that has two fire places, two functioning fireplaces is really quite astounding. this ladder stair is very common in cabins of this period. a way to save stpace. you didn't have to build a stairwell and material. the upstairs is divided into two rooms as you can see

have been in storage that, if we had had all of our connect -- collection back together that was usable, but they would come in to use it. being on the second floor which is not even identified as a law library has made it difficult for people to locate. i think that when you talk about restoring the parts of the collection that had been separated that are still of the value and are used in terms of digital resources, that that makes an impact on the numbers you are looking at. historically, whenever any law library or public library moves to a new facility, the numbers increase a great deal. what happens is outside of legal professionals, members of the public tended to only come to a law library when they have an issue. and we see at least 50% of the people coming in in that category. we are an important access point. we would like to see resources made available in a branch library, but i want to say that members of the public, as well as lawyers, will not be in a position to utilize electronic resources without the support of professional librarians, even in those kinds of facilitie
