of equality utah. all that and more, coming up. welcome to democracy now!, democracynow.org, the war and peace report. i'm amy goodman. voters in new york are heading to the polls today for one of the most closely watched races of the election. donald trump's leading of the republican side will bernie sanders and hillary clinton are locked in an increasingly tight race for the democratic contest. has 18 of the last nine contests, but hillary clinton enjoys wide support in parts of new york where she served as a senator for eight years. at least new yorkers -- 27% of 3 million the state's population -- cannot vote today because are not registered as either democrats or republicans, and are therefore barred from voting in the closed primary. the deadline to switch party affiliation was back in october. meanwhile, more than 200 new yorkers who saw their party affiliations mysteriously switched are filing a last-minute lawsuit to try to make today's primary open. we will have more on the new york primary l

[ laughter ] it's a largely mormon state. but according to -- according to a new poll, 60% of republicans say they're embarrassed by their candidates in the primary so far. that's -- that means almost 40% of republicans aren't embarrassed by their candidates in the primary so far. we got all of the delegates, all 40 delegates in utah. it was a landslide victory for us in utah.d to two nights ago in colorado. colorado, two congressional districts voted. they voted on six delegates. we won all six. we sent 6 for 6. donald trump went 0 for six in colorado. yesterday they had their convention in north dakota. of the delegates who have declared who they're supporting, we got 18. donald got one. now, 18-1, i'll take that ratio all day long. and then tomorrow night here in wisconsin, listen, let me point out the media had bfor weeks an that wisconsin was not going to be a good state for us, that this was a natural state for donald trump, that wisconsin was a purple to blue state, that wisconsin, there weren't that many evangelicals here, that it's a heavily manufacturing blue collar state. i can't tell you how many media analysts i heard saying, well donald trump is going to run away with wisconsin. one thing they forgot is the actual voters of wisconsin. i believe tomorrow night we're going to have a terrific victory here in wisconsin. >> a man who has endorsed s
