now, this weekend i had the good experience once again to go to the utica broiler maker. it is a famous road race in my dad's hometown. 15k race. the largest in the country. people from 45 states participate. and as usual, i walked through the crowd con grgratulating peo and they were sweaty but happy. i came across three men in wheelchairs. just after they crossed the finish line the first thing they said to me was senator, please protect medicaid. we would be lost without it. these were proud men. they deserve to be proud for finishing a difficult race made harder by their disability. they could be forgiven for taking a moment to celebrate but instead they wheeled up to me to talk about how important medicaid was to them. these are not slackers. they wouldn't bow in a race like this if they were but they needed help and were disabled. i don't know how their disability came about. probably from work. they looked like strong guys. we will take away their medicare so we can give tax breaks to the wealthiest people in america? i hope not. these folks don't know it is a life

this weekend, i had a good experience once again to go to the utica boilermaker. it is a famous race in my dads hometown. 15 k race, the largest in the country. people from 45 states participated. as usual, i walked through the crowd afterward congratulating people on a great race. they were sweaty but they were happy. and i came upon three men in wheelchairs. here they are. just after they crossed the finish line, the first thing that they said to me was senator, please protect medicaid. we would be lost without it. these were proud men. and they deserve to be proud for finishing a difficult race made harder by the disability. they could be forgiven for taking a moment to celebrate. but instead, they wheeled off to me to talk about how important medicaid was to them. these are not slackers! they were not being a race like this if they were! but they needed somehow, they are disabled. i do not have their disabilities came about, probably from work. they looked like really strong guys. we're going to take away their medicaid? so that we can give tax breaks to the w
