we are keeping an eye on the wildfire burning this morning near vacaville. look at the video. this is known as the quail fire and it is 1800 acres right now. luckily the evacuations have been lifted because at one point it was threatening about 100 structures. it has destroyed three so far. the fire at last word as of evw contained. this is between vacaville and winters. the smoke was able to travel as far away as sacramento. a lot of that fueled by a red flag warning for the region yesterday. pleasant valley road is still closed in the area. but again, people are returning home. the cause of that fire is under investigation. obviously calfire and the local fire departments are working on making sure it is fully contained first. back to you. >>> happening today, investigators will be back at the scene where santa cruz deputy was shot and killed over the weekend. they are looking for more clues and a possible link to another deadly officer shooting one week earlier. >> we are holding him on the ground right here. >> this is the moment the residents pinned the alleged gunman to
