a fast moving brush fire prompted evacuations in vacaville this afternoon. this fire started in a rural area right near pleasant valley road and cherry glen road. vacaville fire says this fire burned about 15 acres before they were able to knock it down with assistance from cal fire. the rapid rate of spread prompting that brief evacuation order. firefighter will be out there at the scene for several hours, mopping up no structures were damaged and the cause remains under investigation. pga is warning about the possibility of those public safety power outages in the northern part of the state later this week. most of those planned outages are in shasta, tehama and glenn counties. the utility says the outages could start as early as wednesday morning and then go through the entire day on wednesday. there are no planned power outages, anticipated for us right here in the bay area. so the story this week is a heat up. we saw a little bit of a warm up today. these were the highs, 97 in fairfield, 91 in santa rosa. tomorrow's temperatures are the same or a little
