you can see the way it's coming, approaching valdosta, along interstate 10, through stark in the hour and working its way down toward you. it's going take a while. but once we get past the cold front, at least we dry out. it will remain blustery and it will remain chilly. temperature readings for daytime highs today, we hit 64 in most spots. hot spot was cocoa beach at 66. 63 in gainesville. 64 in the villages. right now in melbourne, still 64 degrees. so you can handle that. not too bad. just not picture-perfect. normal high this time of year is about 72. we're off the mark by about 8 degrees, depending on where you are. daytona beach, we just showed you the waves there at 63. still 63 in palm coast. 65 in cocoa beach and gainesville is the only spot that has fallen into the 50's, holding at 59 degrees. wind speeds, kind of all over the board, but they're all pretty stiff. 22-mile-an-hour wind in leesburg. 21 in ocala. 22 in orlando. here comes the satellite and radar together, showing you the location of the front. this is the way it marches in. by 7:00 tonight, it's in gainesville.
