jenna: chris is from valencia, california -- >> yes, we love valencia. jenna: i'm glad. then chris is extra special today. he wanted to know about america's manufacturing and what that's going the look like for the next several years. >> we know that we're very, very good at high-tech development, but we're not very good at high-tech manufacturing compared with the far east. i don't know there's ever been a major manufacturing industrial power that has recovered after being pushed sort of aside by low-wage, but high-tech economies. so i think we're facing a prolonged slowdown in manufacturing, and people can talk all they want about government bringing it back, but i think the trends are extremely adverse. willafter all, if you are a manufacturer or and you can manufacture in thailand or ghana for a small percentage of what you manufacture for in the u.s., you're going to manufacture there. i mean, that's just the way the world works. it's a very sad thing, but i don't want see the future of manufacturing as being particularly strong. people have got to get an education
