police are looking for a driver who hit and killed a man in vallejo. it happened around 9:30 last night on the columbus parkway north of tennessee street. that is where police found 51-year-old earnest howard. police say he was hit in the southbound lane of the columbus parkway and thrown into the northbound lane. the driver left the scene. right now police do not have a description of the car. they are still trying to determine if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
