no injuries have been reported. 3 of the 4 vallejo firefighters are released from the hospital tonight. they were injured when their ladder truck collided with another vehicle and then jackknifed and flipped over. kron 4's dan kerman looks into the cause of that accident. >> you can still see douses along the roadway where firefighters ran into another car. who was at fault and the cause has not been determined. the driver of one of the other vehicles along with one of the firefighters have remained in hospital. none with threatening injuries. emmaa west marin man was arrested for allegedly threatening people with a 26- inch machete last night. that was at "whale of a deli" in point reyes station. police say.47 year old rama bowen was waiving the 26-inch machete around.screaming the word "dead" over and over. he then stormed into the street in front of a passing car. raised the machete over his head and started screaming at the driver. frightened bystanders called the police. c-h-p says a man died after being hit by several cars on highway 80 in vallejo. .and not every driver stopped.

four firefighters on the ladder truck went to vallejo to be checked out. they were racing lights and sirens to a kitchen fire when somehow they tangled with one or more cars and lost control trying to miss the collision. this retired firefighter who took the video says they were in shock after the crash, but still tried to help. >> the firefighters in the rig originally were out of vehicle trying to help him until other firefighters got here and took them, because they were patients too. they were trying to help him. >> reporter: looking down sonoma broadcast, boulevard, which is a major artery and two other cars were involved in the accident, the intersection where they all tangled has a signal at main street, but regardless of the light, the ladder truck was code 3, course traffic is supposed to yield. looking at this truck and wreck, it's hard for firefighters to take. >> it's hard to even wrap my mind around that this could happen; that a truck this size could roll over. in the 27 years' of driving fire apparatus, i just don't think this would happen. >
