fire investigators in vallejo are trying to determine the cause of a house fire that killed two people. fire crews arrived at the home on ladeira street yesterday morning to find smoke pouring out of the front windows. firefighters had to break through a security door to get inside the burning house. they then had to battle heavy smoke. >> smoke down here to the front of the house. not so warm. we go to the back of the house, it's really warm with no visibility at all. >> police found an 89-year-old woman and her 81-year-old husband inside the home. both were pronounced dead at the scene. their names have not been released. neighbors say the couple lived in the home for more than 50 years. >> hundreds of firefighters are getting the upper-hand on a brush fire in southern california. it burned 640 acres in northern los angeles county. it broke out saturday morning in mince canyon. last word, the firefighters have the flames 95% contained. more than 400 firefighters were called in to battle this blaze. the cause is under investigation. >>> the television academy spread the wealth of emmy gold this year in a drama, mini series and variet
