if it went this far, this would be the furthest action that the santa clare water valley, a valley water district, rather the farthest set that they've ever had to take for water conservation in its history, and that conversation is happening this afternoon. you can blame it all on the california drought. they say that they had rules of conservation since last year, but those rules haven't been really followed by community members. here's what happened last summer officials and asked residents of santa clara county to cut their water usage by about 15% they also asked city governments to limit household watering only two days a week. most cities allowed three days while others don't enforce any restriction instead of water usage going down the water district reports usage went up an additional 30% when you compare march 2019 to march of this year. board members say sources for water are starting to run dry and it's not becoming more expensive to buy additional water from federal suppliers as a result of all of that, valley water ceo said in a passport meeting. the district is now prepari

san ramon valley. firefighters responded after they found flames on both sides of the roadway and ended up growing to about 92 acres, and we'll show you what's left behind. this is what we saw earlier this morning, the hills now charred and what seems to be low hanging power lines. we spoke to people who live nearby who say they saw the fire as it was growing. it was a pretty big ah plume of smoke, so it's really windy, hard to tell how big it was or where it was coming from. but it you know, is right next to their house. so pretty concerning fivers contained a small fire and a little more than an hour. san ramon valley. fire department officials did report one of their own was hurt while responding. no word on that firefighters condition just yet this morning. one important message. firefighters say they want to get out if they ask for evacuations. evacuate immediately. luckily that wasn't the case here with this fire, but we may see that and we hear that story often when we hear about these wildfire
