we are off to a clear start in the santa clara valley.m our black mountain cam over looking san jose, cupertino and everywhere in between. we are dealing with dry conditions. tomorrow we will start seeing fog roll back into the forecast in those early morning hours. for the past 12 hours, it's been mild. this weekend was gorgeous in the bay area. i want to show you the storm track into the next couple days. it's well to the north. climate prediction center is showing above normal conditions for rain in the pacific northwest and they're getting their fair share of showers this week alone. by the time the systems potentially make their way to our local areas, we are getting left over clouds. as we extend to long range models, wednesday past that, watch what happens as the jet steam allows for a cut off low to develop. that's going to move into our local areas sunday and monday next week. that's the next chance of showers that we are going to see. in the meantime, dry conditions until late this weekend and early next week. as we take it a st

light showers moving their way into the santa clara valley. and that continues to track off into the sacramento valley and up into the sierra-at-tahoe throughout the afternoon hours tomorrow drying up a little bit as we head into our thursday forecast. thursday will be relatively dry. might see a mist shower here and there but then more heavy showers returning into the forecast for friday. in total we have a big change in the forecast. new year's will be dry though and i'll show you in in the 7 day forecast l and daytime highs today beautiful. we're talking about upper 50s from oakland into san francisco and this is average for this time of year. we're also seeing low 60s in the forecast a little bit more south closer to areas like fremont and into the santa clara valley close to san jose. and last but not least los gatos sitting at 62 this afternoon. watch what happens as we head into this next seven days. the new year is right around the corn score going to be dry at least for now that's what the models are showing. heading into this weekend
