society we have civilian courts, we have supreme court's, we have the ability to appeal, we have valvistafor options available to us, but in the military we have one person that may or may not help you. >> from your experience as well looking at this beyond the military what is your sense of this? again in terms of pulling that out from the military accountability. >> on the military justice system this is purely for my own experience and anecdotally. it's a significant and it's a solution that has to be found. the services are clearly trying to solve it with training. i don't have a crystal ball. i don't know if in 25 years we can wait that long or if that will work or we will have another hearing like this. you know, and be looking for another solution. i wish i could because it is clear it's a major decision to make and would have all kinds of repercussions many of which we can't anticipate it would be harmful. yes, this is a very serious problem and described so perfectly that when you have -- we all want victims to come forward. if they don't come forward now only can we not provide
