held a press conference this afternoon to share the results one was a stabbing at 15th and south van ness last night. another was a stabbing in the tenderloin last week. the third was back in april at 24th and potrero. it's not an typical that we have four murder suspects arrested in a span of a few days on three different cases. so we want to highlight the good. this being done and that the public know how hard we're working to make sure that we keep san francisco a safe city. the chief says there have been 20 homicides in san francisco so far this year last year. there were 18 homicides through the end of may. we are getting our first look at the deadly confrontation between police and seattle and the man at the center of a missing person's case here in the bay area. we do want to warn you though. some may find this next video hard to watch. that was cell phone video released by seattle police that showed the moments they arrested and moved into arrest marshall jones on wednesday officers served in arrest warrant at an apartment where jones was staying they say he came to the door armed

then the evening of june, 3rd police were called to a fight on 15th street and south van ness in the city's mission district. while we're on our way to investigate the call, dispatchers update us that one of the persons have been stabbed patrol officers nicholas ngai and brian santana responded. they found a man suffering from stab wounds. witnesses on scene provided video that helped identify two suspects who were still there. the suspects on scene were in fact still hanging around the area in the vicinity. and those two suspects involved in the stabbing mean were taken into custody without incident. police did not reveal the motive behind any of these deadly stabbings or the names of the suspects or victims. we want to make sure that people when they commit these types of heinous crimes that they held. accountable and held responsible and the publican play a part in that. and police say one way the public can play a part in that is coming forward with any other information and video that could help them reporting live in oakland. i'm elissa harrington ktvu fox two news. thank you.

the other clinic that was highlighted was the south van ness adult behavioral health services which focused on gender health and hiv. the second area highlighted in the gender health prevention was the goal of the programs, and the goal of the programs is health and well-being. the focus is, as we just heard in the prevention, hiv, s.t.i., s.t.d., and hep-c. the community partnerships, briefly, on the presentation of the health access points, not only the presenters but commissioner chow said it's going to be just a real change a change action is well needed but further focuses what we're doing to meet the needs of the community. we also had a presentation to discuss the status of the providing of health in the san francisco hiv community again, and what was extremely important was the presentation of the data improved initiatives and the studies that really make a difference not only here but nationwide as a leader in the hiv field. to i don't know if commissioner bernal would like to add, but this was an absolutely excellent presentation and kind of a lead-in to our commission presentatio
