here to explain why is vanessa herring who joins us live from the satellite center. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you. and that report is in the annals of internal medicine and it says that treating ebola requires significant attention rather to every detail of care to the patient in order to prevent spreading that virus. the authors say they believe that staff need to be trained continuously on things like how to wear the protective gear and how to dispose of waste among other -- among other things. and they don't believe traditional hospitals can provide that sort of training. that's why nurse nina pham was transferred to maryland from texas thursday. the nih is one of four hospitals nationwide that can handle patients ineffabilitied with ebola. another of the hospitals emory university in atlanta is treating pham's colleague amber vinson who's also infected with the deadly virus. rocky mountain laboratories in montana and the university of nebraska are the only other hospitals ready to handle ebola patients. authors of a new report in the annals of in
