kpix 5's joe vazquez just arrived at the scene. he has details. joe, what can you tell us? >> reporter: veronica, take a look. you can see all this activity. we are at castro and beaver right now. you can see that is a muni bus with its windshield shattered. right next to a truck from morris distributing carrying [ non-english language ] beer. so this happened within the hour here. and we understand there have been nine injuries reported by the fire department including both drivers. nine people went to the hospital. now, there are a lot more people on the bus. we understand they were evacuated safely. they were taken off the bus. here's video taken by somebody who posted it on social media. we understand a lot of people were taken off. they will be okay. police are interviewing them as witnesses as to what happened. what caused the crash? the truck was going northbound. you can see it has crossed the yellow median here. it's crossed the yellow line and, um, and it was cresting the hill just as the bus was coming up the hill so there could be a sight problem in that case. b
