virginia beach to remember virginia air national guard members lost 15 years ago today. 3/3/2015 4 vb red horse ceremony later this morning there will be a ceremony for 18 heroes of the 203rd red horse squadron and three florida army national guard aviators. you're looking at video from last year's wreath laying. the service members died in 2001 while returning from training when their plane crashed in a field in georgia. it was the worst peacetime aviation disaster in the history of the national guard. a follow-up now to that deadly marina fire in middlesex county monday. state police say the victims are 75-year- old francis blantz and 65-year-old julia blantz. the victims were living on their boat while their home was under rennovation. about 20 boats were destroyed. police are investigating there's a probable cause hearing today in the case of a man accused of randomly shooting and killing people in kalamazoo, michigan. today's meeting sets up an important one next week that will determine if there's enough evidence against jason dalton to go to trial. the prosecutor plans to speak
