vectorvest mobile comes free with your vectorvest trial. get it now! torvest.com/mobile to get started ♪ >>> after a sell-off last week the financials rallied today with the market an some traders are betting there's nor -- more upside ahead. dan has the action. >> yeah. we saw that monster move in jpmorgan today. the whole space rallied and the xlf was what caught my eye today. some large call volume, outnumbering puts 2061. there was a buyer 68,000, april, 24 1/2 calls that breaks even at 24.71. only up 1.5. 8 of the top ten holdings in the xlf are going to report in april expiration. i suspect this trader is looking to break even up 1.5% and when you go over to the chart here, the thing has been basing now between 22 and 24.5. here's the prior high, about 25. well, the calls don't look particularly expensive from a premium standpoint, it's hard to see this thing breaking out when you think about how widely dispersed it is amongst the financials here. you're risking 21 cents to make 30 cents. it's a nice levered play to the outside. >> thanks. check o

vectorvest mobile comes free with your vectorvest trial. get it now! e to get started . >>> after a big sell-off, qualcomm managed to bounce its from lows, and traders are betting there's more upside ahead. dan nathan is here with the upside. >> call volume was two times that of puts today. there was some interesting call volume that caught my eye. this happened when a lot of the semi stocks were down on the day. a trader bought 5,000 of the april 10th weekly 70 calls, paying 22 cents. that's $110,000 a premium. doesn't sound like a whole heck of a lot, but it's about 5% out of the money. that's where that trade breaks even on april 10th. and if you just look at the trade, it's a series of lower highs and lower lows, the chart, it's a disaster right here. and i guess if you're looking to kind of leverage, maybe an existing long position that you have, this is one way to look out of the money and look for what look like dollar, cheap calls in the name. if you have that 5% move, you have a lot of leverage to the upside. and i'll make one last point here.
