we still have flash flood watches up today for the vegas area. flagstaff, all the way through southern utah and western portions and the mountainous areas of colorado. we have a few flash flood warnings out there now. it is beginning to improve a little bit. you can see the rain still kind of on and off throughout areas of utah, colorado and the mountains, where you can get some flash flooding. as far as the next three days go, all of that rain really pushes into the midwest, the big storm there. we're going to be watching pretty warm conditions in the west. so your tuesday forecast, again, still a slight chance of storms, vegas and phoenix, but dryer air is finally moving in as we try to return back to what should be typical, dry september weather. that's your national temperatures are fine, almost where they should be, upper 80s, low 90s. so one thing very interesting just happened in montana. >> what is that? >> you have to wait. i'll tell you coming up later. >> with all the spritzes so early or late, you wonder if they might get more rain in

vegas has figured out how to do it. it's become a resort destination, but it also has nearby competition now. they've got indian casinos in california, elsewhere in they have perfect, so there's competition for vegas, too. we saw what atlantic city did try to do with this revel casino. it was pretty spectacular. it was a pretty nice resort. they expected that to follow in vegas's footsteps. what went wrong there? >> well, this is completely a problem of execution. if you look at lotvasion, the strip right now, you have a 50-50 split between gaming revenue and non-gaming revenue on the strip. on weekends, the nightclubs in las vegas make more money per square foot than the casino floor. you have high end restaurants, retail, all sorts of things and reasons for people to go to vegas beyond gaming. atlantic city failed to diversify in that mix. rebel was supposed to be the solution, have the great restaurants, the great nightclub, and they were supposed to have the great hotel. they were supposed to have that mix. the prob

if you take a look atlas vegas, the las vegas strip right now. have a 50/50 split between gaming revenue and nongaming revenue on the strip. other weekend the nightclubs in las vegas, they make more money per square foot than the casino floor does right now. it's absolutely remarkable. you have high end restaurants, high end retail. all sorts of things and reasons for people to go to vegas i don't understand gaming. what atlantic city failed to do is diversify in that mix. revel was supposed to be the solution, they were supposed to have the great restaurants, great nightclub and they were supposed to have the great hotel and they were supposed to have that mix. the problem with revel is they never delivered on the execution. if you went to revel the restaurants were terrible. they didn't have good shopping. there wasn't a reason to go back to revel. so that's a failure of execution, but it goes to a wider failure for atlantic city, atlantic city over the course of the last 15 to 20 years has failed to diversify. they have known what they needed
