i'm ali velshi, continuing our breaking news coverage of hurricane irma. the massive and historic category 4 storm is set to make landfall in florida early sunday morning, and according to the latest guidance, irma could build up enough steam to turn back into a category 5 hurricane before it makes landfall in florida. florida is also at risk for dramatic storm surges. look at those numbers. they could reach as high as 12 feet in some areas. due to the storm surges, the acting director of the national hurricane center warned earlier today that it is not clear the storm is survivable for anyone who remains in the florida keys. we're going to get to that in just a moment. florida issued its largest evacuation order in 12 years, causing tens of thousands of residents to leave behind their homes in search of a safe place to ride out the storm. and to those in south florida who haven't left, governor rick scott has one message -- get out. >> we care about your safety. you've got to get prepared. if you're in an evacuation zone, you need to get out now and get e
