the weather service has actually issued rare blizzard warnings for l.a., ventura and san bernardino county. we're just getting blasted with all of this winter snow and rain and all combined. and now paul is going to fill us in on what we have going on tonight and for the weekend. >> you would think the winter weather would wash some of the pollen from the air. the snow level should go up a little bit more but today a few snow showers above 1,500 feet in elevation. the storm system is moving down to the south but it's going to grab moisture and send it toward the bay area. central valley right now it's going to back up toward this move from east to west as we go through tonight. left over showers saturday morning. a brief break in the action but more storms lining up. one that's going to move in sunday, one monday into tuesday. a wet weather pattern. certainly beneficial in terms of the drought perspective. i don't think the snowfall is going to stop at any point as we go into the weekend. it's going to slow saturday but pick up in intensity on sunday. the majority of that is going to hold
