storm team 4 meteorologist veronica johnson is here to explain the new threat for tonight. >> that is the threat seeing thunderstorms, more isolated heavy rain around our area. it has been three months since we have seen water rescues like this in this type of rain falling at between two and three inches of rainfall. take a look at our flash flood watch. all of these counties shaded in green, gaithersburg to manassas. those are the ones shaded in red. northern charles county and through prince george's and through baltimore, the flood warnings the light green. that does include areas of the district and northern prince george's county. the dots you are looking at are all of the flooded roads today mainly i-95 to areas into fairfax and around bethesda areas in eastern howward county. now we are seeing heavier rain moving out. this is the line of thunderstorms that is going to be moving in in the next couple of hours. starting around 8:00 i think the storms will be stepping into areas like fairfax, prince william county where the storms could produce rain and high winds. we have been on
