veronica johnson out on our patio with a little more on that. >> i've only been out here now for a couple of minutes, but the event has been going on for a few hours now, freezing rain and drizzle. the temperature on the patio surface, much like our sidewalk and roads, it's at 29 degrees. and i've got a metal chair next to me that has been sitting out here for that two-hour period. it's reading currently at 31 degrees. this indicative of of course our sidewalks and our cars. and there is a coating of ice already on the chair that has been sitting out here for a while. tomorrow morning we're going to have to do a little bit of scraping, as well as a little bit of work to get that car door open. i just talked to our producer a coupling of minutes ago who walked in, got off the road, and she said her windshield was freezing up and her windshield wipers too. i do think we're going to see some major disruptions across the area tomorrow morning. hopefully some delays. we may even have a cluster of power outages, doug, to our north and west. >> the north and west is really the area we're going t
