like vianey. >> unfortunately, seeing a lot of red on my traffic map.ed speed sensors. that means major slowing. look at my map. we were all good just a minute ago, and now we're definitely seeing a lot of slowing. let's get right to some of the most troubled spots. the first being the south bay. this is along southbound 101 at trimble road. a lane does remain blocked. you can see the heavy delaines in that area. we're also seeing two crashes along 680 before vargas road. a lane does remain blocked. jump off and take surface streets just behind that. this one just popped up on my traffic map. this one is brand-new, so i haven't seen delays picked up on my speed sensor, but the one that seems to be getting worse is along southbound 880 at industrial parkway. a lane does remain blocked. you can see just how heavy the delays are. that's exactly what the east bay drive times are showing. southbound 880 from 238 to highway 34, you're looking at 22 minutes. that's only expected to get worse. doesn't look like they're going to clear that out soon. a live look

let's bring in vianey arana. what are firefighters facing out there? >> we have the winds shifting. the reason for that is we have a ridge of high pressure that has been keeping us hot. it is kind of moving in a different direction and breaking apart. it is going to cool slightly but it will not help. anytime there is a change in direction that means the winds are picking up. the main effected areas are going to be the fire zones in the carr fire. low humidity is expected below 20%. as far as the complex area we are expecting for that fire watch to kick in tomorrow night at 11:00 p.m. through the weekend. that means that the continued hot poor air quality is expected to remain lingering over the bay area for the next several days especially considering that the winds are expected to kick up gusting upwards of 35 plus miles per hour. we'll see a shift in that. it will continue to blow some smoke in our direction, as well. something to keep in mind as we head out this weekend for any plans. we are still expecting to see warmer temperatures especially for the fire zones. i will have an
