vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast. kind of a bummer of a saturday morning. >> it's a little gloomy but it's okay. the temperatures are going to be cooler so you'll still be able do go outside and enjoy even though there's not a lot of sunshine. look at this nice shot of woodside. it shows off the clouds cover out there. temperatures remain on the cooler end in the 40s and 50s. we're actually under a bit of a cooling trend right now that is expected to kind of linger through the weekend, cooling us down anywhere between 5 to upwards of 6 degrees in some spots compared to what we saw this week. santa rosa, 48 degrees, san francisco, 53, hayward, 55, and that temperature trend into the afternoon does show a nice climb eventually into the 70s, but if you notice by the icon, the clouds do stick around for your saturday, and i'll talk about a nice marine layer that's building that could mean some drizzle for some parts of the bay area, so i'll give you a good timeline on what you can expect for your sunday and of course i al

vianey arana has a look at that microclimate forecast.ging to see this morning. >> that's okay. it doesn't carry any rain with it. it's a nice little marine layer, high clouds out there and it is going to keep us cooler throughout the afternoon. cooler temperatures from what we saw yesterday. right now, temperatures remain in the 40s and 50s, napa 48 degrees, san jose at 55 right now, san francisco, 53. your temperature trend into the afternoon will be climbing into the upper 60s and to mid 70s so we will be running a couple of degrees cooler, expecting partly cloudy skies all day long so the clouds will linger into the afternoon and this is ahead of a bit of a system that's going to come into play and as far as if it's going to carry rain with it, you'll have to tune in at 7:00 a.m. to find out. >> that's a good tease. we'll check in 32 minutes. >>> we have new video this morning of the volcano erupting in hawaii, the lava continues to spew, threatening more than 1,700 people and several neighborhoods this morning. it's been more than 24

i'm vicky nguyen along with vianey arana with a look at the holiday weekend forecast.ood. >>> they are looking really good. we have some spots looking hazy, but that's going to clear out and burn off a lot faster than yesterday in the spots seeing cloud cover. and temperatures are in the 50s. but we are expected to warm up into the 60s. we have 53 degrees in san jose. and if i take a quick check of the coastal fog, you can see we are seeing some areas with some low-lying clouds along the coast. but all in all, the temperatures are running a couple degrees warmer in most spots. 10 degrees or slightly cooler. but we have a significant increase of temperatures into the afternoon. this will set us up for a warming trend just in time for memorial day monday. so i will definitely break down exactly what to expect for tomorrow coming up at 7:00 a.m. >> thank you so much. well, you can almost hear the collective sigh of relief across the bay area. the warrior season looked like it may be over until they rallied and fans are looking ahead to game seven tomorrow on memorial day.
