vianey arana has a look at your microclimate forecast and you have a lot going on. >> there is a lot going on. its been a tough week both emotionally and weather-wise. we're dealing with the extreme fire conditions and unfortunately that's going to remain a concern through the weekend for much of california. right now, though, current temperatures in santa rosa below freezing. there is a frost advisory in effect for santa rosa right now waking up to 27 degrees. look at napa, 31 degrees, down through oakland and san jose in those 40s, but its the red flag warnings and the extreme fire danger that i'm keeping a very close eye on. you can see there's red flag warnings not just northern california but down through southern california. in addition to those red flag warnings, there's a couple of fire watches as well and this is said to take effect tonight into tomorrow. we're expecting those locally gusty conditions to pick up once again tonight into the overnight hours. as far as your saturday goes, we're expecting the winds to be fairly tame, however that does not change the extremely un

vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast. we grew up in l.a. are we bringing smog to the bay? >> it would seem that way but it's a lot of the smoke, which is kind of the same thing. lot of the particles in the smoke, we have to be mindful as we out the door this morning. san francisco, you can see the orange hues in the back, but we're expecting to see a bit of a slihift in the winds but not good shift. we're seeing the winds pick up in the hills above a thousand feet and right now, the current temperatures in the 40s and the 50s through the south bay, 44 degrees. i want to remind everybody the smoke advisory is still in effect and it will remain in effect until tomorrow, because we're expecting northeasterly winds to continue to drift a lot of that smoke from the camp fire near the chico area, and i also want to go over the red flag warnings of course and your daytime highs. i have a lock range outlook of what's keeping it so dry in california and the bay area coming up in 15 minutes. >> so sad to see all that unhealthy, unhealthy, hundrunhe.

let's check in with vianey arana in for mike. >> let's get to that new issue that's starting to showcase itself in the speed sensors. there's a crash on the westbound side near the toll plaza. one lane is blocked. you can see it popping up on the speed sensors. this is in addition to the issue we've been reporting on all morning long. that's on the eastbound side after treasure island. there are two lanes now open, so traffic is crawling on by. three lanes remain blocked and there's no estimated time on when it will remain open. the latest chp report does look like they're hooking some vehicles onto a tow truck as of the latest so that could mean they'll clear that out a little quicker. as i was walking over here, i saw another issue pop up possibly just behind that sig alert. i'll immediately go look into that as soon as i get off this report. i want to let you know, there's no estimated time as of right now. again, only two lanes are open. three lanes remain blocked along eastbound 80 right after treasure island. let's send things over to kari for a look at the weather. >> we start out
