vianey arana has a look at your microclimate forecast. we talked about how i saw some showers coming in this morning, but it was warm. it was like 60 degrees outside. >> so our temperatures, it's not a cold storm. our temperatures are pretty mild in the 50s. >> drop the "cold" almost. >> exactly. 58 degrees in san francisco, and yes, we already have some rain, so let's get right to it. now, this system is going to be moving from north to south, and let me zoom in even closer, using our storm ranger, you could see kef' got some good rain coming down in novato now, santa rosa. so that line of showers is expected to push through, and then at one point, that cold front is really going to move into this evening, and that's going to bring some heavier rain with it, along with gustier conditions. as far as where the heaviest rain is right now. we're seeing it further off to the north, sonoma, napa, yountville, up through santa rosa as well, but we're also expecting that to continue to trek south. a couple light showers are pushing through san fr

vianey arana is here with a look at our microclimate forecast. looks a little gloomy on that shot, but behind us, it looks a little brighter. >> yes, you could see off in the distance kind of a little bit of that fog. we have some areas with fog, but we're going to see an increase in that cloud cover. look how beautiful this shot of san francisco looks. absolutely amazing, but as we head in towards the afternoon, you will definitely start to notice the changing weather. now, right now, current temperatures running in those 40s for the most part, mountain view 42 degrees. oakland 47. down through san jose 46. we've got a couple spots in the 30s, into the interior valleys, including livermore at 39, but as you head into the afternoon, you're going to notice our temperatures will have a nice increase into the 50s and eventually we'll climb into some low 60s throughout the bay area. now, as far as that cloud cover, this is what we're tracking, an incoming system, you can see it onradar. it will bring cloud cover. rain totals, as far as that goes this

vianey arana is back with a look at our microclimate forecast.y. >> i know. it's time for the next round of showers, current temperatures it is dry out there, temperatures ranging in the 40s but still a little cold in livermore at 38 degrees. san jose right now 45, san francisco 54, and our temperature trend into the afternoon will eventually climb into those upper 50s, low 60s. we'll start to notice an increase in cloud cover into the afternoon. as far as the rain goes, it looks like as of right now, our best chance of seeing that rain will move in later tonight, so for the most part, your first half of today is going to be okay. you're going to be able to go outside and hang out, but as we head in toward the evening and monday morning, we get another round of showers in throughout the bay area on and off, and those breezy winds will begin to pick up. there is a beach hazard statement in effect along the coastline, so i'll of course go over that and as could you see the radar right there, we've already got some rain approaching southern californ

vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast.howers on my drive in this morning. >> yes, we're still expecting to see the wind and widespread rain, so we've already got some light rain coming down in san francisco. it's eventually going to get heavier and this is the reason why. look off to the northern california area, where you see all the green and lightning and all of that. well, this will bring a chance of seeing some thunderstorms develop. you could see that line, that cold front that's going to continue to sweep from north to south into the afternoon, and with this cold front, one of our concerns is going to be the wind, which is why a wind advisory will be in effect tonight starting at 6:00, especially for the coastal mountains. as far as accumulations and rain totals, we're looking at anywhere from 0.1 to 0.5 of an inch, so not a huge rainmaker but it will pack its own power when the wind drives through. we have upper 50s on the map, a couple low 60s but get ready because it's really going to be a rainy day, and it's goi
