. >> and i'm vic carter. here's what people are talking about. >>> we have an update on breaking news. captain mike perry is live in sky eye chopper 13. mike? >> yes. we told you about it a little earlier, vic. around 1:30 this afternoon, this piece of heavy equipment on the back of a tractor- trailer struck an overpass. this occurred at the outer loop of 695. at southbound i-95 on the southwest side of the beltway. now, since that time, since about 1:30 this afternoon, state highway officials have closed three lanes of the outer loop of the beltway, at southbound 95, as they were assessing damage to this bridge. this is the overpass right here at southbound 95. it struck a very large sign on the front of this structure and then a beam underneath of the bridge. now, they've closed the right- hand lane of southbound i-95 also. this is just to help workers assess the damage to the bridge. apparently the integrity of the bridge is okay. and they are allowing vehicles to run on it. there were no injuries as a res
