talking with some evacuated residents we're going to start with vic lee. was the first wildfire in oakland's new fire season. the fire contained about 3:00 this afternoon burning less than two acres and at one point threatening homes, two in particular at the top of the hillside. firefighters as you said, really jumped in and got here quickly. and this is a hilly terrain. this is lots of trees and they're flammable. there cal fire began water drops and there is 100 firefighters evacuated about 20 residents. the chief said before they can put out the blaze.
