vic lee abc 7 news. >> tv high speed chase stretched for about 100 miles throughout the bay area this afternoon ending in a spectacular crash. sky 7 hd kept pace with it through self city after it left fairfield then went down 6 80 in the twice san jose then up 280 to los altos. this guy just wouldn't stop. screaming along at more than 80 miles an hour even after police blew out one of the tires. sky 7 hd tracked the purchase saw it down 6 80 through the east bay down to san jose then up the peninsula showing the driver speeding the entire time. at one point the speeding path finder lost a couple tears. but the man kept driving at hay speed too. just on bare rims and then watch this just north of foothill expressway in los altos hill he hit the center median crashed and flipped the car. debris everywhere. took a few seconds maybe about 30 before the driver emerge from the vehicle clearly stunned by the crash. he looked up at sky 7 hd overhead and he rubbed his arm which clearly was hurt in the crash. highway patrol officers approached with guns and taser as you can see and put him on
