vick lee reports from the hall of justice. >>reporter: prosecution is accused ramos of shooting to death tony and his 2 sons in the district here june 22, 2,000 8. they say ramos was a member of group that is affiliated with a violent latin american gang ms 13. that he mistook one of the sons for a rival gang member as he drove by the car. another son was not injured and testified as prosecution star witness. he identified ramos as the shoote shooter. ramos claims another gang member in his car fired the gun and that he never knew there would be a shooting. today in court ramos said he was abused by his mother. until he financially ran away. and joined the 20 street gang at the age of 16. my mom told me i wish were you never born. whenever i cried she said i was gay. i ran away many times after my mom's boyfriend beat me up. ramos claims he got out of the gang before the shootin shooting. that he was only giving the shooter nickname flack a ride that day. he says as they were leaving flack saw the car and began shouting that t
