good evening.i'm vicki liviakis. the man was taken into police custody. kron four's dan rubin is joining us live from san jose mineta. where he spoke with airport officials. >>dan rubin vicki, i spoke with rosemary barnes who is the public information officers for san jose airport. she sounded pleased that security protocols here worked as planned. despite 39-year-old miguel zaragoza doing everything he could to prevent capture. he's accused of entering through a restricted area like this just after ten o'clock sunday morning. the area is secured by atlantic. a private and commercial flight company. miguel zaragoza allegedly had a similar experience. he was stopped by atlantic's security personnel, who called police. officers say zaragoza was told to wait in the lobby but fled. according to san jose police, zaragoza then stole a city maintenance truck. zaragoza allegedly drove the stolen truck to this curbside area at terminal b. it was there that operations and custodial staff helped san jose police arrest miguel zaragoza. he was booked into santa clara

>>vicki liviackis developing news this evening. the coast guard is searching the waters at rockaway beach in pacifica.after reports of a body seen floating there. fire crews responded to call near shortly before 5-o-clock. officials say they *did see something floating in the water but could not say whether or not it was a body. and a coast guard helicopter is searching the area. earlier in the day.a surfboard did wash up on the shore.but at this time it's unclear whether or not it's related. a teenager is badly bruised - but alive after falling nearly a hundred feet at alum rock park in san jose today. kron 4's alecia reid has details on the rescue where others have previously lost their lives. >>alecia reid officials say he was too close to the edge of eagle rock while taking photos, when he slipped and fell >> a good 30-40 foot fall in rough terrain then rolled another 70 or so feet down. >>alecia reid that's nearly 100 feet through rocks and rugged terrain. >> >> omg im surprised he was ok. >>alecia reid getting the victim out

. >> vicki liviakis tomorrow, the ntsb will arrive on the scene of a deadly plane crash in the south bay. two people were killed when their small plane crashed near gilroy saturday night. authorities recovered the bodies of the victims this morning. they say the cessna-140 was flying from hollister to watsonville. authorities have not released the names of the victims. however the plane is registered to a man named jon dennis. the cause of the crash remains under investigation. tragedy strikes near the campus of u-c berkeley. the body of a 20 year old, found at a fraternity. now police are trying to figure out what happened. kron 4's scott rates.spoke with students who are shocked at what happened. >> scott rates students are obviously scared and upset by what happened. we have also uncovered a deeper issue into fraternities and sororities were off campus. it was just after midnight on sunday night when police officers responded to a call at a fraternity. while students like this woman are saddened by the death they are also not surprised that this could happen. >>it is because this

investigative reporter vicky nguyen broke the story and has more tonight. vicky? >> reporter: raj, the american postal workers' union sent this letter after our investigation aired. in it, the union director of industrial relations asks pointed questions of national leaders at the usps. mckinnon wants the vp of labor relations to, quote, explain the rationales for any policies that instruct employees not to call 911 when a coworker is in obvious need of medical care. this prompted by what happened to a veteran employee at the postal processing center in west oakland. coworkers found him on the ground, bleeding from the mouth in urgent need of medical care. but instead of calling 911, they followed the facility protocol, which was to call on-site postal police officers. it took up to 53 minutes between the time witnesses said they first saw sam to the time the postal police called 911. sources told us they had been repeatedly instructed not to call 911, and to find a supervisor instead. as we uncovered, the policy itself in west oakland says, quote, only postal pol

the victim's mother vicki wilson moore says despite the police account, her son was not a drug dealer. the victim's mother goes on to thank prince william county police for moving so quickly to make these three arrests. the three suspects are behind bars. they will be back in court next month. in manassas, delia goncalves, wusa9. >>> a former district heights police sergeant was sentenced to five years in prison for shooting a handcuffed manual. jonnie riley was convicted in the september 2012 shooting that left calvin kyle paralyzed. prosecutors say riley shot kyle in the back after kyle got out of the officer's cruiser and began to run away. riley's sentencing was delayed two months because the iraq war veteran tried to attack prosecutors in court. >>> the family of jacob and sarah hoggle are upping their efforts to find the missing toddlers. a news conference just wrapped up minutes ago. scott broom is live in clarksburg, maryland with details. >> reporter: troy turner, the father of the hoggle children is still here now talking to police officers and reporters about this situation
