thanks for being with us tonight on kron. 4 news at 5, i'm grant lotus and i'm vicki liviakis. we still don't know much but in the last half hour we have learned that 4 people were killed, 2 of them adults and 2 children based on the layout of the aftermath believed that speeding was involved. a situation not uncommon in this area. we know just one car was involved in the crash. police say it's some sort of electric vehicle, but they are not saying what make or model yet. the crash happened around 9 o'clock last night at the area where foothill road switches from 2 lanes down to just one us just south of stone ridge drive the car veered off the road. it slammed into a light pole and then barreled into an oak tree. the tree and the ground around it are burned out. as you can see there, they're still foam on the pavement, likely sprayed by the fire department. the cause of this crash is still being investigated, but police do not believe alcohol or foul play are factors in the crash. we spoke to one man dropping off a sign saying rest in love. he says that he did not know those w
