we applaud mayor breed who just this week announced, along with sheriff vickie hennesey, that victiml stop charging people in our city jails for phone calls. [applause] >> and stop marking up items in the jail store. [applause] >> that will put $1.7 million back in the pockets of families of incarcerated people and it will make it easier for them to stay in touch with their incarcerated loved ones. and again, this change happened because of the advocacy of the incredible, the invincible young women of the young women's freedom center, along with so many others. and the young women's freedom center is an organization that started right here in san francisco, and they got their very first grant in 1994 from the women's foundation of california, and i couldn't be prouder of that.
