we are happy that our senior consumer investigator vicky nguyen is here to walk us through it all.at prices are too high. they go into the grocery store and they have the sticker shock. what is the average price of a thanksgiving meal and what are your tips for saving cash? >> the folks at wells fargo came up with the cost of a meal for ten, thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimming, rolls, mash potatoes, salad. it costs $90 to prepare if you are are using name brand indpreediants. with store brands, $73, the price went up on store brands because everyone shifted to buying store brands to save money. there are meal deals to look out for. aldy's is doing an entire meal for $67. it includes a turkey, potatoes, gravy, the pumpkin pie. walmart has a deal for 8 people that will cost you under $7 per guest, 29 ingredients. you can also give that meal if you want to help out your community. if you have a smaller gathering, target is doing a meal for $20 for four people but there is no dessert. you have to make your own pie, sweet potato or pumpkin, whatever side you fall on. use the ca
