this is in victorville, california. look at these tumble weeds. gusts of 70 miles per hour blowing these tumbleweeds. some folks were trapped in their homes for hours until workers could come out and actually get them out. it went up as high as two stories. this is crazy stuff. well, we've got more winds to talk about, but we've also got a storm system coming out of the rockies. it's going to bring rain from the plains all the way down. some of these storms could be awfully strong. saturday more rain moves into the south as low pressure then develops down through texas. this will really cause big problems as we move into sunday. the rain moves into the southeast and it's going to continue right on to the early part of next week. the good news is they need some of this rain. we're talking about drought conditions but we also look at rainfall amounts anywhere from 2 to 4 inches. flood watches are likely for the southeast this weekend. we'll get to your local forecast coming up in the next 30 seconds. >>> happy friday, we've got a beautiful view look
