it's about 70 degrees here in vienna, virginia. that is all going to change as the day wears on. take a look at this video. the sun is up and of course that's going to rm up. we're expecting a dramatic change here in our weather pattern. it's going to be a scorcher here today. we've been watching folks going off to work, getting on the metro here. people seem to be dressed appropriately. we've seen a lot of sun dresses. people in shorts, t-shirts and the like. certainly you'll want to take precautions today because it is going to be hot. here are a couple of tips, limit outdoor activity. if you can, hide in the air conditioning. that's a perfect place to be today. also, be sure to stay hydrated. drink plenty of water. keep your pets inside. a terrible time for pets to be outside in the heat. fairfax county had 22 cases of dogs left in cars. one of those proved to be fatal. that was last year. also, if you are going to exercise, you just can't go a day without it, exercise either early, now's a pretty good time, or wait until the su
