. >>> big story, corruption allegations being waged against vince gray's 2010 campaign. >> a former aide admits to funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars of concealed money to help him get elected. melanie is here with the latest. melanie? >> reporter: with the plea yesterday, this web is starting to unravel. conspiracy, falsified donations cover-ups, plans to flee the country, part of an off the books campaign. 75-year-old jeannie harris worked as an aide to gray's 2010 campaign. the plea agreement says an unnamed co-conspirator funneled $653,000 through her public relations firm that she then spent on campaign materials, consultants supplies and other expenses. she admitted to shredding documents, and also that her co-conspirator offered to pay for her to leave the country for five years to avoid the investigation. she also pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy for concealing the source of other donations about $44,000, to gray's 2010 campaign, and also federal campaigns in 2008. harris is the third person to work on the campaign to plead guilty to some kind of illegal payment
