here to react, vincent hill. sir, thanks for being with us so early. >> top of the morning. thank you for having me. >> so there were a lot of people saying there have been innocent lives lost on both sides of this situation. and that there was a real missed opportunity here. what are your thoughts? >> well, clearly we missed an opportunity here. i mean we had ten police officers killed in the last couple of weeks. you look at dallas, baton rouge. so sandra bland's mother says the loss of a black life is a national loss, but here are men and women who have served their country, who have served their community and no one is actually saying what about their loss. that to me is a national loss. >> the number of police deaths from gunshots from shooting deaths has risen 72% from just the same time period compared to last year. what about maybe inviting some of those family members, some of those mothers to join these mothers on stage? >> yeah, absolutely. i mean, at the end of the day, police are human, as well. they have mothers, daughters, brothers, sisters. so why is the coun
