>> vinnie, i would love to use that argument.g. just as commentary. you hear prosecutors saying marijuana is not a big deal it would be very interesting but you say what you have to when it suits you. let me ask you this, vinnie, do you believe that the defense has succeeded in spreading enough doubt because that's their burden? even making a self-defense case, they don't really have to make a case for all of you at home who aren't lawyers. to show brnd a reasonable doubt that george zimmerman could not have thought he was in risk of serious bodily injury. do you think the defense has done its job? >> defense has done a great job in this trial. but a lot of it had to do with who the witnesses were for the prosecution. however, the best witness the prosecution has in this case is george zimmerman himself. use his words against him in the closing arguments. trust me, there's enough things that he said that's in front of this zwrur that you can absolutely paint that picture that his story is unreasonable, unbelievable and not true.

let's bring in vinnie politan, vin vinny, thanks for bringing us this interview. case and she certainly seemed very powerful in the interview with you. what's your take on why she didn't try it? >> she doesn't try all the cases. she's the boss, right? there's people that she trusts, like bernie, who's been doing this for 30 years. so she generally doesn't try cases, although there is one she's going to try in september, which is a similar case, which is jordan davis as the victim, dunn as the defendant. so she does get in the courtroom once in awhile, but generally that's not her role in the office. but, yeah, you're correct. she's passionate and she is very, very well spoken and persuasive. >> vinnie, what about using the word murderer, is there ethical considering about that when the prosecutor uses that word? >> i was thinking about it, then i took a step back and thought more about it. if she didn't say that, you know, if she said, innocent man, if she said, not guilty, then people would be all over for saying, well, you accused him of murder, how dare you, yo

and we have really been under the leadership of chairwoman marcia fudge chairman vinnie thompson of homeland security and members on the transportation committee and a list of those that i could call their names. they're plenty. leaders like eleanor holmes norton who raised this issue. i respect as committees, we've looked at the question of racial profiling as a dastardly element and some aspects of american society. it meet you on the highway when certain people are stopped that leads to insecurities, issues when certain styles are stopped. maybe those wearing a headdress. and so there's ethnic profiling. i think america needs to not look at it in a clothes tunnel-like vision to suggest that we are look only at an issue because of the emotional facts that have come in the last week such as trayvon, the very terrible case of trayvon martin. we're along at this because we have raised it on many occasions. we believe it is long overdue. many of us have been able to get language in certain bills but never able to get a racial profiling legislation so i know that the number of members of congre
