right now the storm team 4 radar showing some snow and rain and sleet out in west virginia. areasn and gray and pink. that's where we're getting the wintry mix. closer to the metro area maybe getting a few flurries northern, western suburbs. most of this will be passing north and west of us through the morning hours. and then it's later today, here is the timing on any accumulating snow. this is about 10:00 in the morning, some of that begins to move into the northern shenandoah valley panhandle of west virginia. then that spreads east between 11:00 until 3:00 4:00 in the afternoon. south, it will be a mix of some snow and rain around the metro area. this area in the green an pepg. but pink. but it will stay all snow for the afternoon from around noon until around 3:00 4:00. but then it's all gone and heads off to the north and east by around 6:00 p.m.. after that we'll have a mostly cloudy evening and it will freeze back up again overnight tonight. so mostly rain south of washington a little bit of a mix in the metro area. may leave us with a coating to an inch by the time it end
