republican presidential candidate vivek ramaswamy is here. what do you make of this, vivek? would be a disaster if this did proceed to an indictment. i just think we're setting a ter terrible precedent of the party in power to use a police form to indict its political opponent in the middle of an election. it's more serious than the prior indictments. because of section 3 of the 14th amendment. i think this is what is motivating them in this case. that says that if somebody who is sworn an oath of office is convicted on a count of rebellion or insurrection, they're ineligible for office. that would be a disaster for the country to literally eliminate a lead political rival in the midst of an election. i say that as someone that is running against trump. it would be easier for me if trump were eliminated. that's not the outcome i want to see. that's not good for the country, neil. >> neil: nevertheless, it's very different to how you sounded days after the attack on the capitol when you said or tweeted what trump did last week was wrong. down right abhorrent, plain and simple
