[applause] kim oden is one of the greatest volleyball players of all time. she was a three-time all- american at stanford and helped establish stanford as one of the top programs in the country. she was a member of the u.s. national team for years and played in two olympic games. she was named player of the decade in the 1990's by the avca. she has coached at stanford and is an administrator at st. francis high school in cupertino. [applause] next is sharon shapiro. she is one of the finest performers in the history of women's collegiate gymnastics. as a freshman at ucla she won major titles in all four major events as well as the all round. the feat has never been duplicated. she finished with two n.c.a.a. all-around titles and was inducted into the ucla hall of fame in 1999. sharon shapiro.
