from vollmer peak this morning, here's the marine layer.n carlos and gilroy. half moon bay is even worse with the visibility just over a mile. 355 there. san jose waking up to cloudy skies. and novato 57. by the delta that southwest wind a little less this morning. you will be warming up through the 90s. concord is clear at 57. livermore a few clouds around at 57. so we have the mist and drizzle and the poor visibility. the exploratorium camera. you can see that. warmer today just lightly around the bay and inland, anywhere from about a degree to four or five degrees warmer. and the coast sees a little bit of sunshine. the summer spread stays with us through about tuesday. so we are looking at temperatures today coming up a few degrees and the averages for this time of year stack up like this in the first column here. we should see 67 san francisco, forecasting a high of 68. notice the 90 in livermore, a degree above average. a little warmer than average mountain view and napa into the 80s today. it should be a nice afternoon. with that we

the view from the east bay hills camera is showing the vollmer peak and the low clouds. shaping up to be another warm and sunny difficult. good morning, i am katie marzullo. that was a gorgeous shot. leyla gulen has more on the gorgeous weather shots. if you love the clouds, they will dissipate over the afternoon hours. as we look at live doppler 7 hd radar satellite we can expect to see the fog on the coast with clouds moving in but they will melt away. it is limiting our visibility at half moon bay at 15 miles there and nine miles in novato and unlimited elsewhere. starting off with clouds and cooler temperatures and as we led to noon, the temperatures ramp up especially inland by 4:00 84 and 62 degrees along coast. the forecast is straight ahead. c.h.p. re-opened all lanes northbound 880 at 98th following a serious crash but now the sig-alert is reissued. sometimes this is done for the residual backup and it remains in affect but all lanes are re-opened and just the backup you are dealing with. take 580 instead and san leandro is clear and then you are on the brakes.
