the first director was the historian professor vsevolod ignatovsky. on the opening day of the academy of sciences, the staff numbered 128 people, of which 87 scientific employees, by the beginning of 1941 about 750 people worked here, the structure then included 12 research institutions, of which nine were institutes. today the national academy of sciences is a unique scientific cluster of experiments and developments, a harmonious synthesis of theory and practice. the organization of the academy of sciences, as a research and production corporation, is our know-how, belarusian know-how, nowhere in the world... there is no such academy of sciences, such a format. the belarusian academy of sciences is not a club of scientists, this is not some kind of gathering, philosophizing on general topics is not a public organization, it is precisely a research and production corporation, where the principle of a complete chain from idea to final product is implemented. in 1997, in accordance with the decree of the president of the republic of belarus, the academ
