d w. this is d w news asia coming up on our show today dramatic scenes in hong kong as protesters trashed the city's parliament how far are they willing to go to stop the encroachment of chinese rule and how will beijing react we'll hear from our correspondent also coming up the dangerous path across the border fuel smuggling from iran to pakistan the striping look at who's behind it and why neither side can seem to stop it. and diving into street food in taipei will get a taste of a new v.w. series on you tube exploring the call in every highlight of the taiwanese cast. thanks for joining joining us i'm so we so much scott it's good to have you with us on news asia now a tense calm has descended on hong kong after a turbulent night of on rest in the city a cleanup operation is underway to remove debris left over from the chaotic scenes that unfolded in the government quarter now thousands of protesters stormed and ransacked the legislative council on the anniversary of hong kong's return to chinese rule they hung the colonial flag and covered the walls with antigovernment for feeding. including the defiant message that hong kong is not china police eventually moved in firing tear gas to regain control of the building monday night's escalation follows 3 weeks of protests against planned legislation to allow extraditions to china hong kong's chief executive carrie lam is facing calls for her resignation over the bill she condemned the violence at a press conference the 2nd scene that we have seen which really saddens people and shocks a lot of people a state extreme use bolland's and vandalism by protesters who stormed into the legislative council building. over a period of time so this is something that we should seriously condemn but does not true to say has not responded i have announced the suspension of the bill. and subsequently we have explained and elaborated by suspending the bill at this point in time with no timetable and no plan to be sume the debate of the bill in the legislative council. well beijing has reacted cautiously to the protests until now after monday's violence china calls for a criminal investigation and a return to order our correspondent much less filling has been covering the protests in hong kong he has more on beijing's reaction. they have condemned the violence there have also condemned foreign interference whenever foreign governments european or american mostly western governments have commented on these events they see this as an interference they see this and tiley as their own affair although they have an international contract binding them to the status of hong kong that's walking a thin line with their own public right now because they do not want a broader discussion about protests but they often cause want to influence the public opinion in a way that would make people follow their interpretation which is too much democracy leads to chaos so we are seeing a multi-faceted approach here we see the awful new official newspapers who kept news about these clashes yesterday low they would be low the news about the celebrations that were held but they still try of course to influence the public and to prevent a spillover of this wish for democracy onto the chinese mainland. now the u.s. is considering more sanctions on iran washington has made it no secret that it wants to bring iran's oil experts to 0 that means tehran's official export channels are drying up but at the same time and a legal cross border trade in fuel is booming now one of the major routes is between iran and its neighbor pakistan where diesel smuggling is surging now in iran's province of system on and baluchistan a remote border areas are difficult trip to traverse but they're also difficult to police smuggling diesel has become a rare lucrative business in one of iran's poorest regions fuel is heavily subsidized in iran's local market a leader of diesel costs just 7 cents and pakistan that brings in more than 11 times that amount we take you now to the iran pakistan border with the smugglers carry out their dangerous trade. pickup trucks john these dirt roads in but it's just on the border dividing this remote wild region because of little significance to the smugglers. they see themselves as blue jays good flow freely and illegally from iranian to pakistani but who just on one of the most lucrative products is diesel. 40 liters of gasoline can be carried on a motorbike and owns a smuggler around $3.00. enough to scrape together a living. interest the dangers of the trade. accidents are frequent smugglers risk not only losing their cargo and transport but also their lives. their legal trade and feel it's also taking place on the high seas. thanks to the coast guard is quick to respond with deadly force. back on the road this video captures the moment police killed a smuggler earlier this year. the incident sparked protests in baluchistan. province is one of the poorest in iran. the sunni population believes it is being discriminated by the shiite led regime. of frustration and poverty rampant on both sides of the border the rough terrain not the police is the only thing slowing down the smugglers. for more on the story let's bring in shots of july money from asia as a thank you so much for joining us we saw some pretty incredible pictures in that report how organized a smuggling operation. well it exists on both sides of the border the allegation in iran is that the union driven guards are part and parcel of this on the pakistani side it's the front door which is the better military organization charge of it manning the border that they are involved obviously both sides officially deny this but the facts on the ground and the pictures that we have seen speak for themselves that this is pervasive it has been going on for a number of years especially off the sanctions against iran and it is a thriving and risky business he says has that this is been going on for a number of years how much can we attribute this to the u.s. sanctions this is a jump in this trade so my sense is that after 2213 this has really picked up i've been to the border on the pakistani side and i can tell you. that this is a really impoverished area but they don't have any employment a lot of young men they don't have health facilities or schools clean drinking water. and so they are forced to discount effectivity and it simply cannot go on. unless they be brights to security officials. people on both sides of the border they're connected by kinship. often sunni muslims and vendors demand on pakistani side and plenty of supply on the reunion side it will happen if you look at the pictures that there is a lot of traffic on these roads or a lot of vehicles underway here is it really just diesel that's being transported. well it's diesel and oil primarily because remember on the pakistani side of the border it's about tolson or more than a 1000 kilometers of it from the provincial capital so for these people. on the provincial capital to branch of government to come to do to help the heavily on goods and services from across the border not just oil but electricity and other smuggling goods and disport of the border is known it's notorious for human smuggling as well as drug smuggling but this trade is obviously required on the pakistani side to smuggling is. because as i said there is plenty of supply from the indian side and huge demand and shortage on the pakistani side if we talk specifically about the oil here what is a ron's interest in curbing the smuggling well obviously iran has long said that. they will not allow the border to be violated for human smuggling for drug smuggling and for oil but obviously we know that iran is hurting from inside because of the sanctions because of this renewed focus on isolating iran so. there's an allegation that parts of the indian government are turning a blind eye to know as we've just seen in these pictures when they do find out people crossing the border taking millions of barrels of oil from sistani baluchistan province sometimes stop them by force and people have been killed on the iranian side so officially they will see the are taking it seriously even prevented but on the ground it goes on. these shows that giuliani reporting for us thank you very much for your analysis. now we have a new you tube series called tasty taipei meghan lee went to the taiwanese capital where did these chinese editors took her on a cohen ery journey from street food markets to high class restaurants here's a test. never been to taiwan and i hear that taipei is a foodie's paradise so i am super excited to get a taste. waiting for of my colleagues may get leave d w dot com slash to join us on facebook d w for guy. running. the future trunk the festival the 3 days and 3 nights the small village in serbia gives itself over to madness trumpets blair out around the clock in the streets the campsites and the restaurants beer in the local schnapps braccia flow generously. prasanna from all over serbia come here to take part in the competition all of them hope to win the golden trumpet. and not the saddlebag and later down young hostage and his musicians won a regional round to compete for the golden from pleasure in the serbian eldorado of brass music. the band includes maria she'll be the only female trumpeter competing in future. daniel migrated from the poor south to the rich north of serbia where he now lives with his wife and 2 children he says that he owes his musical ambition to his family. the swerve i became a father when i was 16 and some of the day my wife gave birth to our baby everything changed for me. when we went home server it became clear to me i had to take responsibility for my family. i had to work and i had to fight for my child for my family for my career you. wrote what. we want to do. we have to travel to wherever were hired to play wedding music. was to thank god we've got work. so i wouldn't say i could live from it all the time. but when the wedding season comes it really goes well she. boasted to sizzle for. danielle comes from a region about 6 hours south of novi sad on the border with kosovo it's seen as serbia's poor house on your left more than 10 years ago and moved north to and he's living from music. such a long response. we're now going to the house where i grew up let me tell you my story. that's something. i left here in search of a better life on the bus really for miles there were several families living here a lot of people and everything was great. well preserved but everyone's gone now to germany sweden summers with you or denmark or belgrade or novi sad about but one of the results most of the village is now almost empty. just a few older people have stayed. i love to visit my house and the rest of my family general funding most of your thought although. most of it is. down those grandfathers or announced it's alone in the family home and. goes to visit him to get his blessing before he speaks performance. it's a bit of my story. the news of his success in the 1st round spread quickly there was no one congratulate you even though everyone who knew about it would go this was with truth yes everyone has heard of our success we were told if god wills and had to gobble googled it was almost. you know why don't jump on a cell and don't be so ira good just because you won the 1st round you need to stay calm and keep your feet on the ground in the was held by the people remember who you are we started out with nothing. only small and nice to you. that's who i am. in honor of his grandfather daniel and his band from the south right here for the last time before the performance in. the orchestra has 10 members only 6 of them making it today but they give it their all. the money to go none of us can read music we have no musical education. if you don't have that you have to have something else feel for music which isn't if. you have to be in love with it. is logic and this goes it was a salute those. small when you play i mean is it supposed to make you want to dance don't worry about selling off a stack just doubts to the music i think that's almost. most of the orchestra comes from the south to the right of the largest minority here in the barna the unemployment rate is over 50 percent and there's little hope things will improve many young people leave the region in search of work. and. 14 year old the youngest member of daniel's orchestra lives in a camp father brother the whole family a trumpet players and have been for 4 generations. david only went to school for 4 years. by near bush national. mr but i don't really regret it. you can achieve a lot by going to school because i know that you simply don't use turning my money with the trumpet you know it's. david earns his own money and supports his family. and there's a lot. the trumpet is our life that means everything to my husband and children. all of the time livelihood that keeps us fed. he said david started going to school playing the trumpet was what he wanted to do while he learned to play at the age of 8 or 9. that wouldn't it the root of all some difficult. trumpet players are highly respected in serbian society through robotic the trumpet is my brain is like. little more than the trumpet you can assert yourself pressure the dish and it can take you anywhere you want. to achieve the most intelligent thing and his name. is setting off a good show his mother pools water on the path she says good bye it's supposed to bring good luck. oh it is also just like there are every mother would be happy to know that her son is making something of themselves that he performs on stage has seen and i'm proud of her i'm so proud to be able to see the last we'll see. in the coming days this tranquil village in western serbia will be hosting brian just passing now in its 58 year the balkan brass festival is becoming more and more popular it brings a lot of money into gucci the rest of the year the villages live mainly from agriculture. this damage family has had a farm here the 7 generations. milenko is hurrying to repair his tractor the yard has to be cleared for the festival. even 75 year old grandma helps out. that. we work all day long from dawn till dusk and the yard when you're in the stables and in the fields that's the way this. clip before the bread is baked the dough has to be needed. meanwhile her grandchildren are busy setting up a campsite for festival goers. in a few days everything here will be fall down by the river it will be packed with more than a 1000 cars still that this will be a campsite we're expecting at least 100 people hope boy. parking spaces cost $5.00 euros per day the average monthly wage in western serbia is less than $300.00 euros no wonder the locals roll out the red carpet for the annual festival was a correction to the thread to the visitors started arriving on thursday in the village should look perfect but if we are good it's only a few days that you can't leave all year on what you earn. but at least the festival is extra money going that's what the while it helps top up their coffers a little so you can breathe easier as it would be with the launch over next year when it starts all over again then i go and then they did 6 about a puppet. none of the musicians get paid to go to get show it's all about fighting and glory. and then you see. i think performing at the festival and coach as a good investment it's good for your career a lot of people can get to know and see what the solution would be to shoot. something simple you know could do. done young has brought in brillion force means to improve his chances. maria and right young a music students from novi sad. new to much of what joe was and then people are curious that there's a girl in the band some i wonder but i think it's good for abandoning. rihanna is an exceptional chiva fly after he can't read music either in fact is almost behind the study i'm told you said that the docs nothing new since i can't see such as if i learn the score by heart then play for orchestras and also almost without any sheet music go up and it. depends diversity makes it unique. that i want. to look for all sort of you know other band in serbia is so inclusive some of us are black some of us are white. but the beauty is that we all fit together perfectly. with us as human. everything works brilliantly judicial and we've all made friends. it goes to show that it's possible. to overcome differences between nationalities. and the. good. and that is. that if it's. all the. the stage is set the pace of roasting on the spit and the fun can begin thursday is the 1st day of the festival when most serbs still have to work back tourists from all over the world starting to arrive. this is about how to plan for i don't know why so many french people visit 1st of all this is probably because it's free and it's cold. and so many visitors to the balkans the festival in culture is the highlight of their trip. and. wall street journal busy. there's a great trumpet scene in france that's why we hear so much about the festival. and it's completely unlike any other. look i think on our it all takes place in the streets you can be just standing around and trashing him an orchestra will appear around the corner and stop playing everybody dances saying you give them a bit of money it's spontaneous so lively a $50.00 volt. a celebration of music and cross cultural community after a town was on the road danielle's chain is exhausted. the bands taking part in the competition stay in the 2nd house. everyone knows everyone here of the musicians get a welcome there's not a lot of time if before the 1st performance. you know more of the feel like we're about to have a street parade in our regional costumes. it's a serbian tradition sure. to check on the city. and the parade in the afternoon the orchestras line up on the street every serbian region is represented in the competition. some international bands but he had to. leave the broadway it looks a little easier what exactly is it that at least. the mood is exuberant and so is the music it's a cough and the visitors love it but some of the musicians can barely hear themselves not that it matters. live. for us all in all it was great basically a warm up the real thing won't start until the evening churchills. only found a fan found a band from portugal still has the stamina for an impromptu performance like hold up and see if they're not being paid for appearing so these spontaneous street concerts at least a bit of cash. when evening comes crowds descend on the village. once the sun has set the sound of trumpets fills the air for the musicians it's both fun and hard work they've done more in one day you should than they usually do in a whole month but the best restaurant is off limits to street musicians the i know only allows well known bends to ply here that don't get tight but they do get beat tips. out there but. if an orchestra is going to play here at least 2 of won awards. they have to be balanced my case know their record they will compete to play here an orchestra cannot 502000 or even 5000 jurors today. i. believe. for now daniel is still on the outside looking in he's well aware that once a band has won the golden trumpet he can start to make good money on the postal service of the world. i was startled i've got nothing but praise for the orchestra playing in the restaurant someone over should know there were there was no bottle there but very good now. coming back and should not yet have a competition. it's time to midnight but the party will last until morning daniel and his band members have no problems showing their appreciation of the bands just talk. to some a boater most people live off tips so if someone gives you money you should be generous return. to the borders 1st it's an unwritten rule is a thought out there will use asians love to spend money on music 1 was a suburb of all of the but i know most of. them at 3 am the streets are still packed the news is euphoric. i. day. and everyone needs some down time cold refreshment a ranch some chilled sounds or a combination of all 3. love love love love love love love you spend a lot of money here on the drink some music all the fun everything costs money to build up all of the. future it's a festival of contrasts it's popular not shiny in the alternative scene. but also among serbian nationalists the national symbols are a bestseller and groucho but lots of people just like the look of them. i. find. the so strange the british everyone including the russians. the people who like us by the souvenirs of all of those not likely some know their meaning and others just buy them as souvenirs. but these are our historical the national symbol which. i am on the visitors are ultra right nationalists katan patriots and party goers from around the world right wing and left wing activists hipsters and hippies it's the contradictions overlaid with the fanfare of trumpets that make the festival so joyous so exuberant and wild . oh. i love amazingly even though there are lashings of alcohol there's hardly ever any aggression. the big moment has come the daniel cost each orchestra is about to take to the stage. to go to. the edge of. the jungle gives his band some last minute encouragement to still stop. the slow. down scenes of people have gathered to watch the show and serbian national television is broadcasting the entire event live serbia is looking for its next trumpet superstar us. you know mr miliband supreme power now stops because they can't afford to make mistakes. time. through much bureaucrats not of the me like most teachers know saw this stadium speak it introduces them you money will solve. the thank. god for the now it's up to the jury to decide. this is what we came up with the price and we're hoping we will suspend i love the most if not without the. soap but it below some carcass would see it i'm satisfied with the way we played. the practice and all those hours of rehearsal were worth it so on overpayment bias will probably end up obama. it is amazing i feel better than i thought i would i just had a bit of stage fright. and was hopefully all will be no nothing nothing but this is our 1st parents our 1st time in the good competition. and i'm overjoyed with my orchestra and myself i did the best i could for the support of some of my band supported me in every way we did the best we could tonight now it's up. to the jury . interest dodging. the audience and the musicians follow the live broadcast intently the winners of the individual categories are announced one by one and a total of $11.00 price is awarded so far daniels band hasn't won anything but there's still a few categories to go. as. the prize for the best to play is announced it's raw young danielle probably accompanies him on stage. oh whoa whoa whoa slow moving. over this i'm so pleased that we won this prize for the 1st time it's a great success. grant has been waiting for this moment for a long time all his hard work has paid off. the lobby here below it was amazing on stage over my bed and i gave our best to the . oddball we've been rehearsing for so long and we played really well. both of them a little slow. for some the future trumpet festival is one d. w. ill or ning course nikos fake german made. welcome to drive it's the d w motor magazine this time an electric car made to measure we just the micro the no from switzerland. c yachts 1st natural gas powered s.u.v. the a room at t.g.i. and the new range rover evoke. the early 2000 were not a good time for land rover the future of the british brand was in doubt ford sold the company at a big loss to india's touch a group at the new owners had faith in the company's ability to innovate and let its designers develop a completely new car. the result was the range rover evoque which risk you the entire company and kicked up a storm on the s.u.v. market. then got a car to st young voters says that it was because most s.u.v.s at that time low. more like moving refrigerators the evoque came onto the market with a fresh design and a sloping roof line and quickly became the land rovers vests are with over 800000 units sold worldwide and today it is considered one of the innovators of the s.u.v. coupe class and has been showered with numerous awards now the british are launching the 2nd generation who. will see if it has what it takes to build on the successes of the 1st generation. outside you have to do a double take to tell the old from the new what the familiar proportions deceive the 2nd generation of the evoke has worked really no parts from the 1st and sits on a completely new platform the goal is to keep it simple clear lines and smooth surfaces. and so the extendable door handles are only visible if you need them. young says as beautiful as they get exterior design of the evoque me being with its sloping roof line the whole thing has one drawback because of the design there's not really much resembling and the rear window is quite small but landrover thought of that and built a camera into the roof it you can fold the rear view mirror to see the rear view image and he says he wouldn't want to use this permanently want driving because it looks slightly unnatural to him you have these images in the mirror all the time but it's especially helpful when maneuvering because they camera image has a significantly wider angle and so you've just seen more than you could with a normal mirror alone. that doesn't. always equal and. biased media. 32 leader turbo diesel and 2 gasoline engines are available with an output from 112221 kilowatt to increase efficiency all engines except for the entry level diesel have a 48 mild hybrid system it stores energy recovered during braking in a battery in the vehicle floor this is then reused to support acceleration. he says although the evoke has a little turbo lag it then gets moving rather quickly and the steering feels pleasantly direct and the chassis also feels will tune both in relaxed cruising and at a slightly faster pace only when hitting fast curbs can it no longer completely hide institute on weight. evoke shows that luxury can be sustainable with its high quality interior besides leather wool is available as is eucalyptus but that interior might not be completely landrover is not currently able to guarantee that no animal products are used. in the 100 young sums up by saying that in terms of luxury and design nothing quite comes up to the 2nd generation of the evoke among the compact s.u.v.s and so its success story should continue unabated. how much car do you really need and what does real sustainability mean in mobility these were the questions a start up company in switzerland asked. i'm all over let's go with my brother merlin relieved that plain old project. which is part of my committee system company our father founded in the ninety's inventing the 1st exclusive. if you're focusing on a small electric city car kind of a special use kind of vehicle type picking a motorbike. and it began with a simple question. how much car do you really need for a mobility for a baby driving we kind of like look into this the physics should be on average a car is occupied by just 1.2 people and drives it daily this and so for 35 kilometers most cars have 5 seats are big or s.u.v.s nowadays and you say that how can it be that actually the use case is completely different to the parts that are on the market we also looked at the past and we saw that in the system use there were these bubble cars which was very popular and the biggest of them was from the eyes that. they were for people they were more comfortable than a motorbike but the people couldn't get afford a real car so this was their upgrade in terms of you know whether protective mobility was an upgrade to a to a motorbike and were amazed by those concepts because they were they were so interesting and so i mean so actually and that's kind of like for us when we said like ok it needs to be small and that and simple like that all cars from the fifty's. is what worked 60 years ago perhaps the solution for today small light and this time electric with a range of up to 200 kilometers next year the micro leno is expected to hit the market 15000 dollars already reserved. it was a nice analogy made by it had a list for michael of a little and he said you know we don't need to think about making a better car we need to think about making a worse car and i kind of like the idea because you really need to strip the car from all of that stuff that is actually not important that makes it heavy that makes it complicated makes it expensive and really break it down to hey what do people really want from a car. but equal billing isn't just about small efficient cars ben is hosting formula eve this weekend electric race cars with 250 to one of the engines roaring to the finish line at 250 kilometers an hour. and in the middle of it all the micro leno leaving the track just before the race begins. if you say yeah it's an electric car it's sustainable i think this is the wrong answer because it really depends on the concept so for example in my career you know with the battery waste less than just the battery of electric vehicle from from how the. many visitors to the big car makers boots and then what sustainability really use and even in the shadow will formulate eat the michael dino is well received. the important thing about their early years that it makes electric mobility emotional in a way so it's kind of gives it it takes the mobility out of this corner where people just say oh you just do it because it's eco friendly you know they show that it can also be fun and it can also be really exciting and this is kind of the purpose the purpose of the event and that's why we also like being here. formulate you may be electrifying the crowds but what is important in everyday life. if you really want to be eco friendly you need to think from a point of hey how much car do i really need what type of the. do i really need do i really need a car. electric because after home for years and it wasn't that cool you know when tesla started they kind of like became more and more. as well so that you know you drive around with an electric vehicle and you you forget about it that's what changed all this. and that's what the 2 swiss brothers are counting. funnelling the success of its i 30 and i decided to release a 2nd compact sports car we take a closer look at this new hatchback version of the i 30 fastback and. as it's based on the successful i 30 m. version the i 30 fastback and is powered by the same 202 kilowatt 2 leader 4 cylinder engine on top of that the n.c.a. reis comes with a lot of high tech goodies to give a hint don't motor sports excitement even on ordinary trips here night by the contest joe lewis capo says you and i is usually known for its dependable cars with low fuel consumption but with the i 30 m. they opened up a whole new chapter and the i 31st back and aims to take things even further. louis's going to find out how funny it be used to drive as well as how practical it is in everyday situations. technical extras for the end series include a sports suspension with adoptable shock absorbers as well as the end corner of carving differential aimed at increasing traction and preventing understeer. louis's that behind the wheel you immediately notice the sporty origins of the i 30 fastback again the sound from the exhaust is really impressive and ought to thrill any sports are fragile but it can also drive quietly to it thanks to the variable throttle system built into the sports exhaust says you simply need to touch a button on the menu screen to make the exhaust a lot quieter. seen from the front of the u. n. model looks nearly it denser cold to its namesake the fast track and is a quick through the cascade shape grille and the end will grow reminiscent of a twisty race course both typical june di features. but from the side the differences become more apparent the hatchbacks roofline starts slowly descending from them people are on words ending with an integrated spoiler at the rear. of the car tester lewis immediately notices their unique pay like form but he wonders about what it means for space on the back seat and whether it would be possible to fit for a 5 people into the car. lewis says there's enough room in the back for people as tall as he is around 175 centimeters he could even imagine sitting here for a longer journey given that there's enough like our own and head. he says the trunk is a roomy 450 liter as easily allowing for people to travel together with their luck . the fastback can fit about 50 meters more than the hatchback version of the seats are foldable in both versions with the same wheel base the fast track is 12 centimeters longer which makes it appear more elegant. there are clear interior differences to the original i and 30 the fastback has a sports like steering wheel with the end the logo and contrast thing seems which are also found on the seats and you're not the 8 inch touch screen with audio system are standard while the steering wheel offers a choice between different driving modes. there are hardly any differences when it comes to performance specs both end models use the same $202.00 kilowatt to leader 4 cylinder gasoline engine. compared to the strongest gasoline engine on the regular i 30 fastback model the end has close to double the power and accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour 3 seconds faster. it's not. just the performance then justifies the additional $10000.00 euro's in price in germany. and the us is impressed by the diverse range of settings the adaptable shock absorbers for instance can be adjusted to the road condition there by changing the driving dynamics and stability this can be done with just wouldn't push of the button. a rev matching function adds to the sporty feel. the i 30 fastback and is a very emotional car just like it stablemate it provides a good balance between everyday use and driving pleasure and price the just over 30000 euro's it's even relatively affordable. to if the total darkness car tester emmanuel schaefer a says that's what the night would look like if everyone suddenly switched to electric vehicles all those vehicles charging would cause the power grid to collapse and we would sit in the dark but what alternatives will there be to keep things moving on and also environmentally friendly that's what he's going to look at today. one of these alternatives is this car it looks completely normal. but it's a very special model the world's 1st natural gas powered s.u.v. the sea out t.g.i. . the identity of the manual says there are currently 2 types of gas available l.p.g. and c n g c and. gas powered vehicles are already available in various sizes and classes from different manufacturers but they haven't really made it onto the mass market even though they have some clear benefits. i know. he says in principle both l.p.g. and c.n.c. burn much cleaner than gasoline or diesel l.p.g. stands for liquefied petroleum gas it's a byproduct of gasoline refining c.m.g. stands for compressed natural gas and as the name suggests it's natural it comes from the earth and the of the unknowns i think through a compressed natural gas. is that you have come to us they don't vote up a bomb. another benefit of c.n.n. cheney is its special properties. and girded maria burger says gas has a very high energy comes at a c. and g. is a premium fuel with $130.00 octane so much power in the fuel man's consumption all the emissions and low costs and the energy efficiency is also very high even significantly above diesel at the $850.00 fuel stations that offer this alternative fuel in germany it's much cheaper than gasoline or diesel. shows how the refueling process is only slightly different compared to conventional lunging you open the flap here and on the nozzle. put it in the hold and once you've locked it into place with a handle here then you start the refueling process here in time pressing about. the aruba's natural gas tank holds just under 14 kilograms enough to travel around 350 kilometers. but c.m.g. doesn't always have to be pumped out of the ground it can also be produced from other role materials in plants like this one run by audi in northern germany it's an eco friendly option you know what time is the moment she says renewable natural gas is currently gaining ground in german it and that means virtually climate in your promotability or the 90 percent reduction of c o 2 emissions right now a straw. all is the main role material. but we can ferment nearly everything organic in the bio gas plant and bring it to the fuel station via the pipeline network. and those pipelines mean the fuel does not have to be transported by road anymore unlike gasoline or diesel. he says the nice thing about switching from a conventional car to a natural gas car is that you don't even notice by that so if you sit in it you still have the same feeling when driving the same noise because there's still an internal combustion engine under the hood if you only see the difference if you look at the dash you have to separate displays for the c.n.c. tank and the reserve tank on the i don't think there's ever been seen talk. pros and emanuel says he thinks c. and g. vehicles are currently the best school turn of if for individual mobility sure there are electric cars but as he said if everyone switched to them right away it would overload the power grid and worst of all charging them still takes a lot of time and that's not the case with cd n.-g. . the stoning price for a seattle rona t.g.i. is just under $20000.00 euros in germany. the trentino region of northern italy and its capital trying to a spectacular backdrop for a true legend of motor sports history the majestic bentley 4 and a half leader so i base it for a stock to start out 1st you have to press in just 2 about the best to bring the edition magneto's into the right position something done then you turn on the gasoline pump and use the levers to adjust the hand throttle and free ignition what's. the tension mounts says christophe gets ready to roll took one him stock up . with both you. oh dear but christophe gives it another go. back in the roaring twenty's almost a century ago this nimble 2 ton giant was a favorite toy among playboy powered by a monster engine it makes every 2nd down the road and adventure and every curve a hair racer. there's no replacement for displacement i suppose it's indeed the words of none of them goals are only conventionally known as w. ome the engineer and founder of the car company had little time for factors such as vehicle weight air resistance or comfortable handling for car was too slow the answer was a bigger engine and in the case of bentley those power plants went up to 8 leaders on just get all the basics one possibly that would go. to the unit inside the bentley 4 and a half meter packed just the 4 cylinders but a capacity of 4.4 leaders its 110 horsepower to take the main machine to a top speed of 150 kilometers per hour by $927.00 standards and out of this world figure. all of us bought of goats motor sports and luxury were perfectly compatible for bentley explains christophe that meant the battleships maintain cricklewood near london had to deliver on the racetrack to hot in the mid 1920 s. bentleys 3 leader model had won the 24 hour of lamont twice but it was no longer cutting it a more modern but awfully heavy 6.5 liter model went through tires quicker than you could change the big leagues solution cutting 2 cylinders out of the 6.5 liter and the legend was born on the bentley for enough. the bentley 4 and a half leader was made for limone the no nonsense beefcake grit its way around lap after lap wolf bar not so and bernard rubin took turns at the wheel to move the famous club of wealthy motorists known as the bentley boy. after 24 hours and almost 2700 kilometers at full throttle the bentley crossed the line 1st despite suffering a broken chassis a triumph for the prestigious british brand. and original bentley 4 and a half meter will easily set you back a 1000000 euros plus today it comes with a fully adjustable friction dampers headlights with stone guards and tiny windshields. the drum brakes on all 4 wheels are not that effective while the small leather clad seats offer little in the way of lateral support. the cord wrapped steering wheel would look at home on an ocean liner bridge and it takes so muscle to operate. not as tough as they cast iron engine alone weighs about as much as a modern small car mr bentley started out as a locomotive designer of course 4 cylinders of 4.4 liters displacements $110.00 horsepower at all looks a bit old fashioned now but this car was ahead of its time christopher calls the 60 involved legal turning up in the 1980 s. here 4 cylinders with 4 valves each equals 16 dollars 60 years before the likes of the gong. this bentley has 4 extra ignition plugs on board it wasn't until the 1930 s. that high performance cars no longer needed pre-ignition plug. the bentley. 4 and a half meters same gin generates up to $4000.00 r.p.m. but even as minimal revs this awesome beast of yesteryear pumps only a monumental torque. by little and pre-war bentley looks like a relic from a bygone era when brute force ruling a dinosaur in the evolution of sports cars but nonetheless this british bulldog had some pretty sophisticated engineering the potentially 4 and a half meter is indisputable play on milestone in automotive history and the data coming every day is on that bad they did come up and feed. my it's time now that will be interesting to. unfortunately the bentley 4 and a half liter has always been and only to a rare sight production between 192-7931 totalled 15 more were models and just 668 wriggler editions of this iconic beast. next time on dry goods mini goes electric the mini
