w. kamau bell. we talked with them about the recent violence that's impacting the relationship between the bay area's black and asian communities. i began by asking daniel wu why he is using his money and visibility to call this out. >> well, it was basically an emotional response to all these things that we've been seeing all year long. and seeing the 91-year-old man pushed down the day prior we saw vishna died from being shoved to the ground. enough is enough. i can't just sit here and not do anything about it anymore. and so daniel dae kim texted me right away. we got on the phone. let's do something about this. let's put up a reward. and so we did that, hoping to get attention to the matter and nothing more than that. and that's what happened in the end as we brought a mass of attention to the matter. the truth of the matter is our community has been boiling in this for a long time now. we're actually at a boiling point. and what we wanted to address the issue and try to speak out for them befor
