joining me now with his thoughts on the matter doctor wachter. i've been saying for the last 2 years that whether or not the mandate goes away, i will still probably wear a mask on a plane. that's a personal choice. and that's basically what we're left with now making your own personal decision about whether or not to wear a mask. what was your initial reaction to the news yesterday? >>it was inevitable that it was going to be dropped at some my main reaction was should be dropped by a judge who may or may not know anything about public health or should that be the decision of of the cdc and other federal authorities that rather the latter. i think it's a dangerous precedent that a judge can say that the governor doesn't have the authority to to have a mandate during a public health emergency. but overall, i think the time is probably right for this decision. but i'm with you know, i will continue to wear my mask on a plane and on other forms of transportation because there there is still considerable amount of risk that you can catch covid in th
