roe v wade today, the u.s.presentatives past the first new gun safety legislation in decades. the measure was approved mostly along party lines. you had 14 republicans crossed the aisle to vote with democrats. the bill enhances background checks for people under the age of 21 who want to buy a gun. it also prevents convicted domestic abusers from buying guns regardless of whether they're actually married to the victim. additionally, it provides money for states to enhance red flag laws. california has one also enhances money for mental health services and making school safety are increasing security in schools.
